Ana Hinz

Business Development Manager

Ana Hinz is the Business Development Manager at Westland Distillery. She works with all of our export
market teams, facilitates all product-related planning & projects, and manages relationships with
our independent bottling partners. She is a long-time whiskey enthusiast who is certified WSET
Level 2 & 3 in Spirits. She was honored to be selected to participate in the OurWhisky
Foundation mentorship program in early 2023. Previously, she was the Virtual Brand
Ambassador and Rackhouse Supervisor for Wanderback Whiskey in Hood River, Oregon,
where she managed the barrel inventory, blended whiskies, and educated consumers about
their one-of-a-kind single malts.
Ana is deeply passionate about single malt. She loves exploring the many nuances of whiskey-
making by diving deep into how and why flavors and aromas coalesce into a finished whiskey.
Using her knowledge and passion, she works collaboratively with the entire Westland team to
help create innovative American Single Malt products.
