Harvey grew up farming around the heart of the Delta in Lee and Phillips County, Arkansas . He earned a degree in Biological & Agricultural Engineering from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and MBA at Thomas More University, Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Harvey went on to have a 30 year career in the food industry. He and his wife Donna raised three wonderful children in places all across the US. However the goal was to one day return to their home state of Arkansas. The other was to find a way to be connected to their 4th generation family farm. The idea of starting a farm distillery checked their boxes for building a business rooted deep in family and farm. They chose sweet potatoes from the farm to craft a world class vodka; thus birthing Delta Dirt Distillery. Together he and Donna have made a personal commitment to themselves and their community to “Raising Spirits in the Delta”.
